MEV-Boost

An open-source middleware that lets Ethereum validators outsource block building to specialized builders who compete to create the most profitable blocks.

Definition

An open-source middleware that lets Ethereum validators outsource block building to specialized builders who compete to create the most profitable blocks. Validators receive bids from builders and select the highest one. Most Ethereum validators now use MEV-Boost, which has fundamentally changed how blocks are built.
