Editorial standards
These are the rules we hold ourselves to. They exist so you know what you are reading, where it came from, and what we will and will not do to earn your attention.
Independence
Our coverage is not for sale. We do not accept payment to publish, promote, or bury a story. If a piece is sponsored, or if we earn an affiliate commission from a link, it is disclosed clearly on the page.
Sourcing and attribution
When we build on another outlet’s reporting, we credit it and link to it. When we cite data, we name the provider. Primary sources beat secondhand summaries, and we reach for them wherever we can.
AI disclosure
We use AI tools to help draft and speed up production. Editorial judgment, sourcing, and the standards on this page are ours. AI is not permitted to invent facts, quotes, data, or on-chain activity, and every piece is meant to add real analysis rather than restate a feed.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim to be right, and to be fast about being right when we are not. Errors are corrected promptly and the change is noted. We would rather issue a correction than let a mistake stand.
Conflicts of interest
Crypto writers often hold crypto. Where a holding or relationship could reasonably be seen to affect a piece, it should be disclosed. We do not use coverage to pump a position.
Clarity over hype
We write in plain language, avoid manufactured urgency, and do not dress speculation up as certainty. If something is uncertain, we say so.
