Definition

A cryptocurrency token associated with a project building at the intersection of artificial intelligence and blockchain. AI tokens power networks for decentralized compute (RNDR, AKT), AI agent coordination (FET, OLAS), data marketplaces (OCEAN), and decentralized ML training (TAO). The value of an AI token should be tied to actual protocol usage, not just the AI narrative. Key evaluation criteria include on-chain activity, revenue generation, token utility, and whether the protocol genuinely needs a token.
