Token Standard

A set of rules that tokens on a blockchain must follow so wallets, exchanges, and dApps can interact with them.

Definition

A set of rules that tokens on a blockchain must follow so wallets, exchanges, and dApps can interact with them. ERC-20 is the standard for fungible tokens on Ethereum, ERC-721 for NFTs, BEP-20 for BNB Chain, and SPL for Solana. Standards ensure interoperability across the ecosystem.
