BEP-20

The token standard on BNB Chain, equivalent to Ethereum's ERC-20.

Definition

The token standard on BNB Chain, equivalent to Ethereum's ERC-20. BEP-20 tokens follow the same basic interface for transfers, approvals, and balance checks. Most tokens on BNB Chain use this standard, and many popular Ethereum tokens have BEP-20 versions that trade on PancakeSwap.
