ETF Flows

The net amount of money entering or leaving exchange-traded funds, closely watched in crypto since spot Bitcoin ETFs launched in January 2024.

Definition

The net amount of money entering or leaving exchange-traded funds, closely watched in crypto since spot Bitcoin ETFs launched in January 2024. Positive inflows (money coming in) generally signal institutional demand and are bullish. Outflows indicate selling pressure. BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC lead in volume.
