Accredited Investor

Someone who meets specific income or net worth thresholds set by regulators, qualifying them for investments not available to the general public.

Definition

Someone who meets specific income or net worth thresholds set by regulators, qualifying them for investments not available to the general public. In the U.S., that means $200K+ annual income or $1M+ net worth excluding your home. Many crypto token sales restrict participation to accredited investors to comply with securities laws.
