Blob Inscription

Data inscribed in Ethereum blob space (introduced by EIP-4844) rather than in regular calldata.

Definition

Data inscribed in Ethereum blob space (introduced by EIP-4844) rather than in regular calldata. Blob inscriptions are much cheaper than traditional calldata inscriptions but are pruned after about 18 days, making them non-permanent unless archived off-chain. Ethscriptions explored this approach.
