Bitcoin Dominance

Bitcoin's market cap as a percentage of the total crypto market.

Definition

Bitcoin's market cap as a percentage of the total crypto market. When dominance rises, money is flowing into BTC over altcoins. When it drops, altcoins are outperforming, which often happens in the later stages of bull runs.
