A Layer 1 blockchain also built by former Meta engineers, using the Move programming language like Sui.

Definition

A Layer 1 blockchain also built by former Meta engineers, using the Move programming language like Sui. Aptos uses a BFT consensus mechanism called AptosBFT and focuses on safety and upgradability. It launched mainnet in October 2022 with significant venture capital backing.
