Crypto Portfolio Tracker

Track your crypto holdings with live prices and allocation breakdown. 100% client-side. Your data never leaves your browser.

Why Track Your Crypto Portfolio?

If you own more than one cryptocurrency, you need a portfolio tracker. Without one, you're guessing how much your holdings are worth, what percentage each coin represents, and whether you're actually making money. That's not investing, that's hoping.

A portfolio tracker gives you a clear picture of your total crypto net worth in one place. You see which coins are up, which are down, how your allocation looks, and whether you're overexposed to any single asset. Simple stuff, but most people skip it.

How This Tool Works

Search for any cryptocurrency by name or ticker, enter the amount you hold, and add it to your portfolio. The tool pulls live prices from CoinGecko and shows you the current value, 24-hour change, and total portfolio value. Everything is stored locally in your browser using localStorage, so nothing gets sent to our servers.

The pie chart shows your allocation breakdown, so you can quickly spot if you're too concentrated in one asset. Financial advisors typically recommend diversification, and this visualization makes it obvious when your portfolio is lopsided.

Portfolio Tracking Best Practices

  • Update regularly. Crypto moves fast. Check your portfolio at least weekly to stay on top of position sizes and make informed rebalancing decisions.
  • Track cost basis. Knowing what you paid for each coin matters for calculating actual profit/loss. Pair this tracker with our Profit Calculator for detailed P&L.
  • Mind your allocation. If one coin grows to 50%+ of your portfolio, consider rebalancing. Concentration risk is real in crypto, where single assets can drop 80% or more.
  • Don't check too often. Hourly checking leads to emotional trading. Set a schedule and stick to it.

Privacy First

Your portfolio data stays in your browser's local storage. We don't track what coins you own, how much you hold, or anything about your financial situation. If you clear your browser data, your portfolio is gone. For a permanent record, consider noting your holdings somewhere private.
