Bitget Launches Stocks 2.0, Boosting Tokenized Equities with Real Market Liquidity
Bitget's new Stocks 2.0 taps real equity market liquidity, enhancing tokenized stock trading. With 36 new assets and low fees, it's a major shift for on-chain equities.
Bitget is shaking up the tokenized equities space with the launch of Stocks 2.0, a revamped product promising deeper market liquidity and improved asset transparency. This isn't just a minor upgrade, it's a full-scale enhancement aimed at bridging traditional equity markets with the crypto universe. With Reality as the licensed issuer behind this move, users now have access to a more efficient and transparent tokenized equity trading experience.
Here's the thing: Stocks 2.0 focuses on three core improvements. First, deeper stock market liquidity means users get a trading experience that rivals real equity markets, thanks to global liquidity channels. Second, a 1:1 economic mapping of stock tokens ensures transparency and maintains the economic integrity of the underlying assets. And for those tracking corporate actions like dividends and stock splits, these will now be accurately reflected in user balances and executed directly with USDT stablecoin.
So why does this matter? Well, expanding tokenized equities into Bitget's network means these assets now play nicely with unified accounts, margin systems, and trading strategies. The inclusion of 36 major equities and ETFs, like Apple and Tesla, opens up more avenues for diversification. Plus, with a base trading fee of just 0.1% and Maker/Taker fees as low as 0.05% when using BGB, Bitget is offering one of the most cost-effective options in the market. This is what onboarding actually looks like.
By 2026, Bitget's cumulative tokenized stock spot volume had already crossed the $1 billion mark. It's clear they're leading the Universal Exchange model, with stock futures trading surpassing $10 billion. The builders never left. As Gracy Chen, CEO at Bitget, said, "By 2030, we could see over 10% of global financial assets tokenized." That's a bold prediction, but given Bitget's market position, it's not far-fetched.
Watch Bitget closely. If they keep this momentum, they're not just playing in the market. They're reshaping it.
