A wallet recovery method where trusted friends or family (guardians) can help you regain access to your wallet if you lose your keys.

Definition

A wallet recovery method where trusted friends or family (guardians) can help you regain access to your wallet if you lose your keys. Instead of relying solely on a seed phrase, a majority of guardians can approve a key change. Vitalik Buterin has advocated for this as the ideal wallet security model.
