The smallest unit of Bitcoin, equal to 0.

Definition

The smallest unit of Bitcoin, equal to 0.00000001 BTC. Named after Bitcoin's pseudonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. When people say they're 'stacking sats,' they mean accumulating small amounts of Bitcoin.
