Relayer

A service that facilitates transactions between parties without taking custody of funds.

Definition

A service that facilitates transactions between parties without taking custody of funds. In cross-chain bridges, relayers pass messages between chains. In gasless transactions, relayers submit transactions on behalf of users and get reimbursed by the protocol. They're the invisible infrastructure behind many smooth Web3 experiences.
