Rebase Token

A token that automatically adjusts its supply to maintain a target price or distribute rewards.

Definition

A token that automatically adjusts its supply to maintain a target price or distribute rewards. Your wallet balance changes daily, up or down, based on the protocol's mechanics. OlympusDAO and Ampleforth are famous examples, though many rebase tokens from 2021 lost most of their value.
