Quantitative Easing (QE)

When central banks buy assets (usually bonds) to inject money into the economy.

Definition

When central banks buy assets (usually bonds) to inject money into the economy. QE increases money supply and tends to push up asset prices. The era of QE from 2009-2022 was great for stocks and crypto alike.
