A multi-chain network that connects different blockchains (called parachains) through a central relay chain.

Definition

A multi-chain network that connects different blockchains (called parachains) through a central relay chain. Each parachain can be optimized for a specific use case while sharing security with the whole network. Projects win parachain slots through auctions by locking up DOT tokens.
