A compact proof that a specific piece of data is included in a Merkle tree without revealing all the data.

Definition

A compact proof that a specific piece of data is included in a Merkle tree without revealing all the data. Commonly used in airdrops to verify that an address is on the eligibility list and in light clients to verify transaction inclusion without downloading the full blockchain.
