Frax

A stablecoin protocol that originally used a fractional reserve model, partially backed by collateral and partially by its algorithm.

Definition

A stablecoin protocol that originally used a fractional reserve model, partially backed by collateral and partially by its algorithm. Frax later moved to full collateralization. The ecosystem includes frxETH for liquid staking and Fraxlend for lending.
