DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization)

An organization run by code and governed by token holders instead of a traditional management structure.

Definition

An organization run by code and governed by token holders instead of a traditional management structure. Members vote on proposals using their governance tokens. DAOs manage everything from DeFi protocols to investment funds to art collectives.
