Atomic Swap

A way to trade cryptocurrencies directly between different blockchains without using an exchange.

Definition

A way to trade cryptocurrencies directly between different blockchains without using an exchange. Either both parties complete the trade or neither does, there's no in-between. It uses hash time-locked contracts to make the swap trustless.
