Jumping into a trade or investment without doing proper research, driven by hype or FOMO.

Definition

Jumping into a trade or investment without doing proper research, driven by hype or FOMO. 'I aped into that new token without reading the docs.' Can be used positively when the ape pays off big, or negatively when someone loses money on an impulsive decision.
